ValueNomics' Director of Valuation Services, Dirk Van Dyke, earns the coveted professional designation Accredited Senior Appraiser by the American Society of Appraisers

Cupertino, CA — ValueNomics' Director of Valuation Services, Dirk Van Dyke, has earned the professional designation Accredited Senior Appraiser granted by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

In line with passing the bar or becoming a Certified Public Accountant, this achievement is the result of many years of hard work. As an ASA candidate, Dirk had to first pass four levels of course study and examination, the ASA's Ethics Examination and an examination on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).  Intensive written examinations and oral interviews were used to evaluate Dirk's technical appraisal proficiency and understanding of the fundamentals of appraisal ethics, principles and concepts. In addition, copies of Dirk's appraisal reports were confidentially reviewed to determine if his work met the ASA's professional criteria.

Having met the necessary requirements, including a minimum of five years experience, Dirk was also required to furnish professional and personal references and be subject to credit and background investigations. The local chapter of the ASA conducted personal interviews and evaluated Dirk's appraisal practices and experience.

Dirk is one of only a handful of business valuators in the Silicon Valley Chapter to achieve the coveted accreditation.
