— ValueNomics' President, Gary E. Jones, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Association for Corporate Growth, Silicon Valley Chapter. The parent Association for Corporate Growth organization was founded in 1954 and now has nearly 5,500 members representing approximately 2,500 companies in 36 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, the UK and Mexico. The Association for Corporate Growth is regarded as the premier association for and about professionals involved in middle-market corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. The organization promotes the professional interests of its members, who have assumed leadership roles in strategic corporate growth, by offering a forum for quality programs, education and networking.
The Silicon Valley Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth was founded in 1984 and currently has approximately 180 members.
The membership consists of select professional leaders involved in corporate growth and development. Members' titles reflect an impressive level and range of professional achievement, such as chief executive officers, chief financial officers, corporate development officers, strategic planners, dealmakers, lawyers, bankers, and accountants.
